Hadn't been there in a long time. Friendly & great food & service!! Will definitely make it back sooner next time.

Nice menu selection and change of pace from all the fast food locations in town.

After reading some reviews before going, I was very disappointed. I had the breaded tenderloin and onion rings. Not at all what I was hoping for, way too much grease. Got my food and my check and then forgotten. I finally got another waitress’ attention to get a refill.

Met a friend had lunch and reminisced a bit. The server made great recommendations on the food and kept us going with drinks until we were ready to leave, about 3 hours. I would highly recommend West End both the food and staff were great.

Pretty Awesome food at a decent price. My sister and I decided to shorten our lifespan a bit by sharing the chicken livers and gizzards lunch, which included fries, fried green pickles and breaded mushrooms. Everything was spot on. Piping hot just the way it should be. Service was not bad at all. We will be back for sure.

Excellent home cooked meals, great atmosphere, friendly service, highly recommend if in the area.

I've been here three times now and I always leave happy. Everything I tried has been really good and the portions are big. We'll be back!

They have the best onion rings and tenderloins and fish.

Fries were mushy, fried fish was good, service subpar the girls were to busy having their private conversations to the side of the cooking window. I guess they call it the waitress conversation room. Some day I'll try their breakfast, see how that goes.

Very good food and a nice selection. Waitresses are all very good and professional. Restaurant is kept clean and tables are cleaned as soon as the people leave. Rest rooms are kept clean also.

Come to decatur often and this is my favorite place to eat at. Great people. Good is amazing and good prices.

Service was fine, but what we ordered was a "bluegill" fish dinner. What we ate was definitely NOT bluegill! Disappointing!

The atmosphere was okay. I got alot of stares. The food and experience wasn't worth the money spent. Almost $12 for a small sandwich, fries, and soda

Always good food & prices here! Moved from Decatur 30 years ago, and food is still served hot and tasty! Atmosphere is clean & friendly. Family style restaurant. You won't be sorry!

The food is always good at the West End. I had their special today. It was fish, greenbeans, mashed potatoes, roll, and apple cobbler. It was very good. The service is always good and the place is busy most of the time. They have good pie too. My favorite is their rhubarb.

Outstanding small town restaurant. Fabulous food,great prices & fast super friendly service. Was not the place we had driven an hour to try but definitely will be the place we come back to again on future trips to Decatur!

Was pleasantly surprised with this very home cooked meal. Everything was delicious. We had the lunch special. I had the west end cod and my friend had the Swiss steak. It was served with pot/gravy, green beans, roll and cookie. We also got an order of fried chicken gizzards that melted in your mouth. We got the smaller serving and it was huge. So I recommend this home cooking place highly.

Great Service and Yummy Food.

Locally owned restaurant, great food and service. Stopped for lunch, they were full and still had excellent service! Highly recommend if you looking for homemade food and/or desserts.

Very accommodating we came in 40 minutes before closing and they let us stay 20 minutes past. The quality of the food was great for the amount of money it cost. Definitely recommend it.

This was our 2nd time going to West End restaurant both times the meal the food was outstanding this time we had liver and onions, which was the Thursday specialty, probably the most tender liver I've ever had was fantastic. This trip was my wife myself and our nephew.

Nice cozy little place but the foods not quit worth the price. They cater more the the senior crowd, and the food reflects that.

Very good restaurant with delicious food west of downtown Decatur. Staff helpful and knowledgeable from appetizers to main courses and desserts to drinks. Pleasant atmosphere and easy parking available. Very popular restaurant especially around meal time. Come early alone or with a family and have a great meal!!

The pumpkin and roasted-apple soup was to die for (in-season only). Grilled cod was excellent as well. The baked potato was a little overcooked but I can live with that. Reasonable prices for a lot of food.
